Chamundeshwari Jayanti
ಜಯಂತಿ
The birthday of the goddess — one of the most auspicious days of the year. Abhisheka, special puja, and grand decoration of the sanctum.
Maha Shivaratri
ಮಹಾ ಶಿವರಾತ್ರಿ
Special all-night darshan and abhisheka at the Nandi shrine and associated Shiva temples. The hill glows with diyas through the night.
Rathasapthami
ರಥಸಪ್ತಮಿ
The seventh day of Magha — symbolic of the sun reaching its northern peak. Special surya pooja and a chariot procession around the temple complex.
